Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be taken to your comfortable hotel. The city offers different activities to enjoy during your first day. We also recommend trying some local restaurants where you will find a variety of cuisine styles ranging from the great parrilla (BBQ) and pastas to Mexican, vegetarian, and more exotic options. After breakfast, you will be transported to the airport for your flight to El Calafate. Upon arrival in El Calafate, you will be picked up and taken to your selected hotel. We highly recommend visit Nimez Lagoon at sunset. Night in El Calafate.

Breakfast at your hotel. We travel to Los Glaciares National Park, which is comprised of about 47 glaciers that reveal a 10 thousand-year-old world – cold and wild. The most famous is Perito Moreno Glacier in the southwestern end of Argentino Lake, 80k/49m away from El Calafate. This glacier owes its name to a great Argentinean explorer from the last century and is one of the few glaciers in the world that is still moving – one of the most spectacular natural shows in South America. Periodically its 200-foot high outer edge will release ice walls the size buildings that fall into Rico Bend or Canal de los Témpanos (Ice floes Channel). Then they continue sailing along the channel to the main area of the lake. It is a thrilling sight as the glacier comes closer to the Magallanes Peninsula, footbridge, and viewpoint area. This show is breathtaking, accompanied by the sounds and echoes of cracking ice.
Return to the hotel in the evening. Local restaurants offer great quality food and friendly service. We recommend trying the famous “Cordero al Asador”. Night in El Calafate.

After breakfast, you have the day in El Calafate at your leisure for exploration, or optional excursions. Night in El Calafate.

After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Iguazu. Upon arrival in Puerto Iguazu, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day at your leisure to explore the area, enjoy the swimming pool and other facilities offered by the selected hotel. Night in Iguazu.

After breakfast, you will leave for a full day excursion with an English-speaking guide to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls. You will be guided around several paths inside the National Park and have many opportunities to enjoy the incredible views of the more than 200 waterfalls. At noon, you will have free time for lunch and the chance to take the Optional Great Adventure navigation tour, which takes you for a boat ride around, and under, the falls – prepare to get wet if you choose this highly recommended adventure! In the afternoon, you will board the train that leads you to the greatest fall in the park: the Devil’s Throat. You will return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Night in Iguazu.

Breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast you will be transported to the airport to take your flight to Mendoza. Once there, you will be transferred to your selected Hotel. Night in Mendoza.

After breakfast, we will be starting our tour early in the morning as we leave Mendoza in the direction of the Chacras, the so-called “cradle of Malbec”. Cycling to two important bodegas, bilingual guides will lead us through the differing histories as well as the production and cultivation processes of each bodega before tasting some of Mendoza´s famous wines. Having finished both visits we will return to the city of Mendoza. Night in Mendoza.

After breakfast, you will start the wine tour that includes visiting three iconic bodegas. As winemaking reflects much of Argentina’s history you will be able to learn about the origins of local wine making, the impact of the first immigrants that settled in the area, the development of the wine industry and the innovation implemented by the latest generations of Mendoza´s winemakers. During the tour you will learn about three different ways of evaluating (“elaborating”) high-quality wines. Accompanied by a specialized guide you will be able to explore each of the three bodegas in detail. Wine tasting is included in every winery. After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel. After breakfast you will be transported to the airport to take your flight back to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival you will be picked up and taken to your comfortable hotel. We recommend staying in a different part of town (Puerto Madero or Recoleta) even for a night so you can experience other areas of the city. Night in Buenos Aires.

After breakfast enjoy a half-day City Tour that will provide you with a general view of the city and some of its attractions. During the tour (about three hours) you will be able to visit Retiro, Palermo, 9th of July Avenue, the Colon Opera House and Obelisk, Downtown (the Congress, the Mayo Square, Mayo Avenue, Government House), Puerto Madero, San Telmo with stops in Recoleta for the famous cemetery, Francia Square and La Boca with the colorful Caminito.

Departing from the hotel northwards, we will be passing by the residential neighborhoods and the President’s Residence in Olivos. Leaving the city of Buenos Aires, your next destination will be the San Isidro district, an elegant residential area. You will visit the beautiful Neo-gothic Cathedral in the historic center of the city, which is surrounded by some Colonial and Italian style houses, cobbled streets, and its square with centenary trees. Within a short distance you will find the renovated San Isidro Train Station, an interesting complex of restaurants, cinemas and a shopping mall. The visit continues towards Tigre, a lovely neighborhood situated in the delta of Paraná River. The early 18th century first inhabitants were smugglers who evaded custom taxes by hiding amid its maze of little rivers and isles. Finally, toward the end of the 19th century, it turned into the favorite recreation spot for the upper classes of Buenos Aires. Therefore, a sail along the river delta will allow you to admire the old residences, the scruffy wooden houses built up on pilings, as well as yachts and rowers, all members of the community along the river. The delta’s several little isles are covered with abundant subtropical vegetation, crossed by channels and streams. Lunch will take place in a typical local restaurant, and afterwards we will enjoy some relaxation in this ideal place, in touch with nature and pure air, far away from the noises of the big city.
