Aeroparque will be closed starting October 20th 2010 The mega project under way at Ezeiza International Airport will make it possible to operate the flights relocated from Jorge Newbery City Airport, also known as Aeroparque, as from October 20. This is due to the provisional terminal closure. After the relaxing Amazon cruise we took a late night flight from Manaus, 2 am, to Salvador de Bahia to continue our journey. Our next destination was a boutique hotel on a remote beach of the Ilha Tinhare, south of Bahia. Typically the trip can take 2-2.5 hrs by a catamaran or a boat.
